Build Your Subscriber List The Viral Way
A great way to build your business is to create a newsletter using an auto responder with a broadcast feature. You can increase your opt-in subscriber base easily by promoting your newsletter with a report that you simply give away free. Here is a good way to start building your list of newsletter subscribers:
Make a free report that is 9 or 10 pages long in PDF format. The requirements for your free report are this:
1. Write information that is clear, concise and needed by your clients.
2. You want to promote your newsletter with this free report. Include links back to your home page in the report. On your home page capture email addresses with a subscription box for your newsletter.
3. It is important that your clients are enticed to seek the extra information by subscribing to your newsletter. Tell them that there is much more information about your business regularly updated in your newsletter. Explain the benefits to them for subscribing to your newsletter.
4. It is helpful to include a testimonial in your free report. This adds credibility to your work.
Then you can give your free report away to prospective clients. Offer it in your email signature file. Offer it to people that send you offers via email. You can visit forums in your industry and mention it in your forum signature file.
Other ways of distributing your free report include offering it to ezine list owners for their subscribers, emailing your own list, or simply write a supporting article and include a link in your resource box to download your free report. The best way to distribute your article is to go to an article distribution service where, for a small fee, your article will be exposed to publishers and websites.
Once you have established a subscriber base, you can start profiting from your efforts. You can recommend products through your affiliate links in your newsletter, or any other special product offering that your clients would be interested in. After you have a substantial subscriber count, you can start to sell advertising space in your newsletter if you wish.
Remember that your newsletter subscribers are long-term customers. You want to treat them right. Always give them the best information that you can find and treat them with professional respect. You want to maintain your relationship with these people for a long time. They will prove to be the best customers you will ever have.
The beauty of creating your own free report is that you are going to extend give away rights to everyone who downloads it. You want to encourage people to share the report with others. This way your free report will become a viral magnet for your business and as more people download and read the report, your subscriber base will grow bigger over time.
Don’t stop promoting it though. The more subscribers to your newsletter you get, the more money you will make. It makes sense to make a free report a big part of your marketing efforts. The way to make money is to stay in touch with your many clients and customers. This email address capture method will give you an advantage that is easy to accomplish and well worth your time.
