This move has been talked about for a while now, but their has been no confirmation for sale. Well, I guess this is confirmation.

Twitter announced this deal yesterday on twitters blog but the real question as to how the company was paid for. Twitters blog did not touched on this question. Alleyinsider.com reports that the deal was landed for $15 million in stock and cash. Stock meaning stock in Twitter.

With this latest acquisition twitter is in line to possibly start making some substantial money. Search engines are turning a pretty profit as of late with advertisement and such.

That not to say that twitter would not be able to make money with twitter.com but I don’t think the current community would stand for ads on there tweets or tweeter pages.

Any rate this seems to be a great purchase for tweeter. The growth rate for this company has been extraordinary. According to the latest traffic stats provided by borthwick, summize grew from 0 to 14M queries a week in over the space of two months. Lets hope the twitter can keep the same track record and produce the same numbers in the same space.

I thought that this day would never come in my life. A day when I would take my car to the gas station and see that gas prices are at a record high of $4.00 per gallon. Let me repeat that again. $4.00 per gallon. Who would have thought that these prices were even possible. And to make it even worse, the price is not stopping with leading policy makers saying that prices will get even higher in the next month and will hit a new high of $5.00 per gallon.

When is this going to end? Were is the relief? How are people going to afford paying these kind of prices and still be able to live a comfortable life.

I remember the good days when gas was only $.99 cents per gallon. What happened to those prices? We will NEVER see those types of prices again. The best we can hope for is probably $2.99 per gallon if the next president is able to negotiate a deal with the oil bearing nations. Or if for some miracle the US taps a oil field from heaven.

So, were is the relief.. Well, I found a interesting resource that shows a way to run a car, truck or SUV on water. Most will not believe this so the proof is in see. Take a look at the video below.

Stop depending on gas that get higher and higher each day. Convert your car to run on water and save your money for something else.

This is the best invention that I have seen in a while that will help the US move from depending on foreign old in the future. I hope that congress takes a look at this seriously and puts money towards it to make it a more reliable resource.

Last night was a historic event, Obama was nominated as the first Afro American nominated for the highest office, President of the United States. I would not have thought that I would have seen this in my lifetime. It is truly a historic occasion. Now, Obama has to figure out how to finish the race and make it to the white house, so change can occur.

Now to Hilary Clinton….

But the nomination has been shadowed by the reluctant nature of Hilary Clinton. A lady that has kicked and stomped to keep herself in the race. But now that the race is over she is still defiant to the end. Not conceeding or even recognizing the courage and good fight that Obama showed to get to this point in the race.

In the end she shaders all that the democratic party has worked so hard to accomplish in the past few years. To me its like a smack in the face. Why not conceed and allow the party to start the healing process and allow the spotlight to start shinning on Obama as he steps forward to bring the fight to the republic nominated MaCain. He is going to have a hard enough battle fighting him.

I am also sure if she won the nomination Obama would have given her the respect and conceded the nomination to her and allowed her to have her moment. And we all would have hurried to her camp to support her on her journey to the Presidency.

I just don’t know what is going through her mind. It’s like she is so angry that she can’t fathom giving Obama his due favor. Even in this post I should not be spending two to three paragraphs on Hilary Clinton. I should be writing exclusively about Obama and his future.

Hilary Just let it go and move on. Clear the spotlight off of yourself and allow the spotlight to move over to Obama…

Well, I’m sure that you have noticed that I am changing my site template.  I grew tired with the last design and I thought it be a good time to put up a new template.

I am still working on putting up some of the features from the last site, So, please excuse if you see something that just looks strange in the next couple of days.

She still has it. Tina Turner has just released that she is going back on tour.  She broke the story earlier this week on Oprah with one of her friend Cher.

Did you know that Tina has a record as one of the highest attended concerts of all time.  According to Billboard Boxscore, her tour in 2000 was the year’s highest earner.  It made almost $110 million with attendance of approx 24000 people per show.  The only artist to ever beat here attendance record has been Madonna and Cher.

If you have never seen Tina Turner in concert then you are definitely missing a treat.  She is high energy and she will keep you entertained right through the end of her show.
