Do You Squidoo? Profitable Technique

If you know about squidoo then it is no secret how profitable using this service could be.  And what is so great about using this service is that creating websites with it are totally free.  So, I ran an experiment around May and started using a new site for some of my affiliate marketing just to test it out to see if I could also start making some of the money that a number of other people were making.  I have to say the money it good..

First off these sites perform even better than most of my website.  I believe this is the case because the website or lense is part of the squidoo domain that gives you some juice anyways over time.  Second, it is pretty easy to get some google pr juice with these sites.  All of my sites I have pretty much just linked to other lenses and over time they are raised up in the serps.

So, here is the technique. 

1. Find a topic that you are interested in. 
2. Do some keyword research.  If your not firmiliar with keyword research I would recommend reading up on this topic.  I have a great free download that will explain how to do keyword research.  I also recommend using wordtracker for your research.  Here is a free trial.
3. Go to squidoo.com
4. Once you have gotten your keyword use it as the name of your lense. 
5. When creating your lense write a small introduction and also use your keywords. 
6. Create links in the introduction to affiliate programs that relate to your keywords.  This is how to create links <a href=”web affiliate address”>name of link</a>
7. Goto the top of the lense publishing wizard and add modules.
8. I Love eBay.  So if your not an affiliate for it yet.  Become one at cj.com.  Add the RSS module and add some ebay RSS feeds with your affiliate ID in them.
9. Do this for a number of your related keywords and publish the lense.
10. Next start promoting the lense by visiting other lenses and leaving comments that link back to your lense.  Link from other websites, (Use TLA).
11. Wait
12. Continue the process and make for lenses.  The more the better.

This precess does not happen in a day.  Some of my lenses did not start paying of till the 6 or 7th month.  But I am only using natural search results.  If you have money you can also use PPC.  Google Adwords PPC system gives high points for these types of web pages and they convert fairly well.

I have made a lot of money with this technique this season and I plan to make more lenses in the future.  Squidoo today..
