		<description>I hope everyone stopped for a few minutes yesterday and really thought about Dr. King's message.

I had the chance to explain it to my five-year-old twins on the way to school.  This is the first time they have really been old enough to grasp what it was about.  

Just explaining the concept of prejudice was distasteful, and my kids reacted with innocent shock--they simply couldn't understand why someone would hate another person for no good reason except their appearance.

It just goes to show--prejudice is taught, not inborn.
