Well, if there is anyone that is watching this case study.. I know, no one really cares… But here is my next post as to how to make $30 dollars per month. I will probably carry this case study for a while because there are a number of ways to accomplish this. This is just my first idea..
That said, let see what I would need to do next to get to my goal.. So far, I have created the website cheap dj systems and populated the website with I believe that it was 10 articles. If this was a mini website and I just wanted to create a google campaign and drive traffic this way, I would say that 10 articles is enough. But, as I have wrote before, I am not a big PPC lover. I absolutely love FREE search engine traffic. And the only way to get search engine traffic is to generate content. So, my next task for this website is to great 100 to 200 pages of content. Either I buy it, write it myself or search through article directories and republish pre-written articles. Either way, I have to get to the 100 to 200 articles.
Why 100 or 200 articles. I have found with any of my websites 100 to 200 is the break even point that the search engine really start to take you seriously. At first your articles will not rank but, at some point like magic the article start getting noticed and google adsense money start coming in. Next, you will see spiratic income come in from other sources. In my case, I am mometizing my websites with google adsense, eBay and amazon.com.
I will also have to publish the articles that I write in the article directories.. I have stated earlier that I usually only publish my articles in ezinearticles.com and americanchronicle.com. Both of these directories rank very well in Google and Yahoo serps..
Last, I will have to find 5 to 10 link partners. Publishing the articles will probably take care of this problem. In the resource box of all my articles are links the direct back to my sites. As others publish my articles I will get a link back. These will help but I will also try to find other resources with high PR to bring up the PR on cheap dj systems.
So, this is the plan for the next week or two. Continue watching and in the next month or two I hope to be making $30 dollars a month from this site. But that is just the beginning goal…

I am a computer programmer that got fed up with the corporate life. While I write the post I have since removed myself from the corporate life and am now doing affiliate marketing full time. It was not easy. I took a lot of slack from bosses that did not have the same vision that I had. But I continued to rock on and follow my dream.
I look forward to following your test here. I usually shoot for higher than $30 per month, but you have to start somewhere. My advice would be to steer clear of republishing already written articles, as this may hurt you more than benefit you. You would probably be better off to invest in having them written for you, if you don’t have the time to write them yourself. So far your plan sounds great, so I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for the advise. I am not in the habit of creating a site that will only make $30 dollars per month. Not really worth all the effort. But this question came up on another blog and I thought it would be a great project to post on. This is just one of the ideas. Keep check back as I will reveal other ideas and how to execute them.
I would love to know what you are doing to make money. I am always open to look at different aspect to make money.
Although I definitely agree that it’s good to shoot a little higher than $30/month, this is a great formula to get someone started with earning an online income. Once you can convince someone that it can be done, the rest becomes much easier. Even those of us who believe it’s possible have had moments of doubt prior to getting established.
Hm… quite interesting idea! But I think it is quite high time costing plan. MB You should optimize it? (or even automize.. ooops)
