Is Stumbled Upon Worth It? Case Study Week 1
For those that are just checking in and if you have not had a chance to read my previous post on Stumbled Upon, let me give you a little recap. I wrote a article this week that states that if your starting out a website then using Stumbled Upon would be a great means of generating traffic. Well, this is the end of week one and I thought I would disclose some results of my findings. Now, some of you may be surprised that this website is in much need of new traffic. Even though I have had this website since the beginning of my affiliate career, I know that some people have been trying to find out stats on this website I see them in my logs, I have not done much of anything with this website since two months ago. Two months ago I quit my job, updated this theme. Added money generating links and standards. Did some SEO things.
At that time I was only getting about 50 to 90 hits per day. Very pathetic if I must say so myself. But, I have been concentrating on a number of my other websites for the last two years, so I have not had time to mess with this website. So, now you know were this website came from. What kind of traffic I was receiving two months ago. And if you wanted to know if I was making any money with this site. I was making zero. Nothing…Â

But I have to say that I have seen a difference in the last two weeks after starting to use stumbled Upon and I will let the numbers tell the tail.
December 10th was the day I started with Stumbled Upon. So, as you can see traffic is increasing and I am starting to get a little notice with a few of my post. I am also happy to say that I am making a little money with this site now. For those that are looking for way to generate traffic, Stumbled Upon or social marketing in general is a great means of generating traffic. It will take time, but you can and will see a difference.

I am a computer programmer that got fed up with the corporate life. While I write the post I have since removed myself from the corporate life and am now doing affiliate marketing full time.
