Every so often I find myself looking at my goals to see if I am on track toward accomplishing them. I have been slack in reviewing my goals daily and every so often is not a great habit, even though I work to do at least one new thing daily towards my goals, reviewing them once every two or three months will not help me to accomplish what I set out to accomplish by the end of the year. I need to man up and refocus on seeing the finish line before it gets here. Forgive me everyone, I needed to say all of this to myself to get my self concience back on track.

Back to the review. I took a look at my goals today and if you have not seen my goals here is a copy of them.

I will deliver at least 5 more affiliate sites this year. It is important to continue creating affiliate site. I call these profit centers. The more profit centers I have the more profitable I will be.
Publish 300 articles for this year. Articles are the backbone of my whole business as well as my marketing. I try to publish at least 30 articles a month on various subjects. In each article I link them to my websites as well as affiliate programs. Articles are the backbone of my whole business as well as my marketing. Bring on 10 more content writers. I know that I can’t do everything alone. I hope to bring on 10 more contributors to my various blogs. This is very important as I want varied opinions on each blog. Not just one set of ideas.
Increase google adsense income $100 dollars each day. This goal is to sulitify my retirement from my old corporate life. I just don’t want to go back. I would dread the day.
Increase my affiliate income by $100 dollars per day. The same idea as the last.

Here is were I stand thus far in my accomplishing my goals. Goal 1 I have already accomplished. I have more than accomplished this goal because I am up to 8 new sites as of today. So, I am amending this goal a little. Goal 1 will be restated as:

I will deliver 2 more affiliate sites each month till the end of the year.

I think this goal will be able to carry me to the rest of the year.

Goal 2: I have not been keeping up with this goal and I think it is a little unrealistic to say that I will be able to accomplish it this year as stated. Even though with every new site I publish 10 to 20 articles, most of the time I don’t re-publish the articles in my article directory accounts. Well, I can’t say that. It depends on the site. If the site is indexed with me publishing any of the articles then there is no need to. But if the site is not indexed quickly that is telling me that I have to create more content for the site to get recognized. So, in that case I will publish new articles. In any case I need to change this goal a little.

2. Publish 50 to 100 articles for this year.

I think this is very reasonable and can be accomplished this year.

Goal 3: This goal I will keep the same. I have gotten on person to write one article for this site. But I have not found anyone to write on a regular basis.

Goal 4: I can’t say that I am totally on track with this one. But it has increased. So, I will keep this one the same also. As I bring on more sites this goal will sure to increase.

Goal 5: I would say out of 100% I am 5% closer to this goal. There has been increases but not to the extent that I would say that I am on track. But, I will not change this goal either. Increasing my affiliate income by $100 dollars daily will be a large task for this year. But, if I hit on the right keywords, I know that it can be accomplished.

Question: Are you reviewing your goals daily or even monthly? If you are, Great!!! Keep it up.. If your not, how will you know that you have gotten what you want if you don’t have a finish line?
